The Green Monster

It's finally here:

I'm not sure about how it fits in the room, in regards to the side tables and the ottoman, etc. It's just weird to have a whole couch after so many years of futons and baby ikea loveseats. These are bad photos, so I'm not sure how to explain...

So now that I have my couch, along with all the other things (or at least all that I can do/afford right now), I just HAVE TO PAINT. Then everything can get onto the walls and I'll feel comfortable with what I've accomplished these past two months.

Yay, couch!

The couch will look enormous for a while, and then you'll get used to it. We went through the "this monster sofa has eaten my living room, and the chairs quail in terror" syndrome a couple years ago -- and it's actually fine and looks great to everyone else, but it's just so different from what you're used to seeing.

Saw your post on MyShrapnel.

Noticed you're from Phoenix, which is where my family (parents, brother+) lives. I live in Israel.

Couldn't find an email for you, so I'm posting to your blog...

I am curious about the book & website you are using to help you organize your home.

I'd love to check it out, to see if it might help me organize mine.

I've been here (in my apartment) three years already and this is my "final destination" -- I'm not planning on moving ever again.

I have three kids but I still live like a student. It is so time to get over that! But I definitely need some help. (I've been living like a student for half my life!)

Thanks,
